Early
Treatment

Who We Are
Meet Dr. Clifton
Dr. Lenise Clifton, our orthodontist and a pediatric dentist, opened this practice with a small staff in 1997. A lot has changed since then, but she remains just as passionate about helping patients smile!
A native of Louisiana, Dr. Clifton moved to North Carolina after college and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. She also completed residencies in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics at UNC.
Meet Dr. Chuck
A pediatric dentist, Dr. Chuck Mauney, joined this practice a few years after his wife, Dr. Lenise Clifton established it in 1997. Dr. Clifton and Dr. Chuck both love meeting new patients and families!
Dr. Chuck is from North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry at North Carolina State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. Dr. Chuck also has a Masters in Public Health, is board-certified, and has achieved Diplomate status with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Introducing Dr. Nash!
A pediatric dentist, Dr. Thurston Nash joined our office in 2023. He’s a wonderful addition to the team, and our patients love him! Dr. Nash has a Masters in Dentistry and is a board-certified Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
